Help End Parental Alienation

We are a 501 c 3 tax exempt organization.

Welcome!

Contested Custody with Domestic Violence, Inc. was organized to provide services and support for people who are in the midst of ongoing custody cases.

Some custody cases are the result of two adults who just can't get along. Most custody cases that continue for several years are the result of a continuing of abuse utilizing the court system. Survivors of domestic violence who escaped the relationship, many times have their abuser continue the abuse through accusations of child abuse, denigration of reputation in the community, and through parental alienation.

This organization seeks to help survivors of domestic violence overcome the abuse they suffered so they may be better advocates for their children. Research shows that 60 to 80% of domestic violence perpetrators abuse their children once the spouse has left the home. These numbers do not reflect parental alienation but instead reflect physical, sexual, and verbal abuse.

This organization will help to break the cycle of abuse by advocating for the best interest of the child. This advocacy will be in the form of support for the surviving parent, resource brokerage for available support in the community, and counseling.

With continued support and growth, this organization will add financial support for the various needs of a surviving parent.

At Contested Custody with Domestic Violence, Inc. we pride ourselves in the daily contribution to individual and community wellbeing. We believe that by helping break the cycle of violence, we are helping society as a whole, and contributing towords the goal of the dramatic reduction in abuse in our culture.

We believe the family is the strength of our society and we endeavor to break the cycle of abuse from one generation to the next. Contested Custody with Domestic Violence, Inc., will provide resources for survivors of domestic violence to advocate for their children, to utilize counseling services, and to support education and research about the relationship between domestic violence and Parental Alienation.
